I am new to contracting and I have just registered my ltd. company, however I will not start contracting until the New Year.

In the meantime I need to purchase some tools and materials etc.

Just wondering if anyone uses the same ltd company for contracting and selling their apps on App Store, Google Play, Kindle Store?
If yes how does that affect the accounts?
Any other problems, issues or disadvantages?

Another newbie question from me! I'm switchin from using an umbrella company to my own limited company. I've decided that I would like to get Income Protection.
