    started a topic Hi All

    Hi All

    Hi all,

I am a permie looking to go contracting so thought I would say hi. I have no newbie questions as I am going through the guides which are really useful.

My background - 31 years old - 14 years working in IT, now specialising in MS exchange and messaging - have a good generalist scope too. I had always wanted to end up contracting but thought the risk was to high. I moved permie jobs 4 months ago and I'm now in the position where my role is no longer required (outsourced the project I was meant to work on) so thought now is the time to make the leap.

I've worked for IT companies visiting sites all the time, so I'm hoping there is no major shock to the system,

Anyway thats it for now - wish me luck on my contract hunt, then setting up my Ltd and getting accountant sorted (see I have been reading )

    cheers

    Michael
