    Contractors don't have a sick record. (Nobody ever asked me, anyway.) It's not like anyone can call your HR person to check your record.

    Richard, you make an interesting point, the worry is my "file" is tarnished with taking so much sick leave. I guess I value references and I know a broken leg or bout of pneumonia will be looked at more sympathetically than depression.

    I am Scottish not a female though , Gal is a shortening of my surname, and Scott is my first name. I worked in the States for a while and now work in Scotland. Don't ask how that's going though I am extremely unhappy at my current role to the point I need to be on medication (Not joking!).
