The AWR doesn't come in to effect until October 2011. The REC has some useful info on its website and there is also this oneUnderstanding AWD which talks about what the AWR will mean for contractors

Agency worker regulations

Hi, I was hoping that someone could help me. I am contracting and an using an umbrella company called JMK which suits me well. However a couple other contractors keep hearing about changes to the AWR from October? and I just want know if anyone knows how this could affect me being paid through an umbrella company?
