Every time the taxman has decided to pick on a large company, the large company takes them to court including the courts in Europe. So something as simple as whether a Jaffa cake is a cake or biscuit costs the government a lot of money in legal fees.
They pick on us because it's cheaper. Of course they make mistakes and pick on some people who have insurance for that purpose.
