My HP wifi printer has started doing this after (i suspect) a HP firmware update. It happens if I reboot the router and nothing can see it again. Reboot the printer and its back again.
I‘ve got a spare powerline network adapter so I'm considering taking wifi out of the equation.

I suspect the HH3. Restarted the router and everyone's happy.

Wifi printer problems - network specialists!

I got this brand spanking new Epson 3530 Workforce printer but it never seems to like staying online for very long.

Every time I have to run all the setup procedures / do restarts, both on the printer and our laptops (W8 & MBA) numerous times until finally it magically becomes available to outside devices somehow.

I have checked the settings on my router (BT Home Hub 3) and the printer is there connected (static IP) but when I try to access it via ping/browser/printer setup it just doesn't exist. I've turned all firewalls off on both laptops so that's not the problem.
    Now what am I missing?
There must be just one tiny thing that I'm not seeing Why isn't the printer visible outside of the router?
Working...
