I couldn't find one I liked at all. I ended up using some A4 drafting film, a Rotring .35mm Rapidograph and a scanner.

Drawing pads

Can anyone recommend a good drawing tablet?

No doubt Wacom springs to mind, but I found them too sensitive for my taste, i.e. starts drawing when the pen is still a centimeter above the pad.
