Virgin Media Super Hub still not super??

Have been offered an upgrade to "upto 60Mb" but have read loads about the Virgin SuperHub on the net and most of them are horror stories,.

Anyone here using the SuperHub and got any comments good or otherwise?

I need it to be reliable as I WFH at least 1 day a week, need good internet access to my home network when away.

Update: Seems from what I am reading that anyone with any tech in them is switching the new modem router to act purely as a modem and then linking it into any existing router, bascially leaving the network structure the same as is now.

Would be nice if they would give a modem only option, rather than forcing this SuperHub piece of cr@p on everyone.

Update 2: Having read some more it seems that when running purely as a modem it works ok, so have order the unit and will immediately switch to modem only mode and get wireless and DCHP from my existing router.
