I haven't paid for anything yet and I plan to keep it that way.

I've now downloaded and linked 'Google Reader' and 'Google Listen', I can now subscribe whilst browsing on a PC and it pops up on my phone.

Doubletwist player seems to be top of the ratings. Just go to play.google.com and search for "podcast player" - there are plenty and you can read the reviews easier on a computer than on a phone.

Nope, tried a fair few podcast apps when I moved from iOS to Android and this is by far the best, can come on you are a contractor, is £1.69 really gonna trouble you

Android podcast apps

I want to be able to get R4 comedy and Absolute radio podcasts as I do on my iPod which I have left at home.

Any recommendations?
