Acers come with a gypsy curse

I had an acer laptop that suffered a faulty screen and was sent back 3 times to their uk 'repair' centre. They failed to 'repair' it twice, and by the third time I'd had enough so sold it on ebay as soon as it came back. I'll never buy Acer again.

    That WAS the Advantage warranty.

Dell has the worst build quality - their keyboards are impossible to fix.

They are absolutely crap build quality as well.

Never buy a Sony - they change models so often it's impossible to get spares for them. Stick to a Dell for that (or a Toshiba - I just threw mine at the wall from 10ft away and it works quite happily still!!!).

We use these, got about 100 kicking around in the Organisation,
its normally either the hdd that goes, quick replacement, or the
screens which again quick replacement, and normally damaged because someone is too heavy handed with them.

Had an Acer laptop for about 6 months. Never given me any problems. It has spent most of its life sat on my desk, so its durability hasn't really been tested.
