Try to change the default MTU size to 1500 or 1450 or experiment with it or goddammit call tech support! BTW the netgear dgn1000 was a good router.

reset to factory settings - entered user name/password and wireless security and bang.
its back and its bad !!!
just looking what the best channel will be.

Netgear DGN1000 - streaming issues
My old router (philips) packed in last night and I had a spare netgear dgn1000 that was issued by orange when I join them for broadband,
today the wireless signal strength has been dreadful (im less than 1mtr from router).
Also when I try and stream anything I am getting a lot of blocking.
Anyone had similar issues and overcome them ?
