I've been using VPN IP Tunneling - VPN UK, USA, Spain, Canada, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Switzerland VPN services. for 6 months for the BBC iPlayer, ITV and Spotify and it works great
-
if the above dont work, you can always use Tor and keep refreshing until you get a UK based exit node?

Not iPlayer but Hotspotshield is a US proxy that allows you to use Hulu, an American iPlayer type site that has all the latest US shows.

hidemyass does a range of VPN / proxies which you can use.
Some proxies are free (93.189.5.138:8080 is currently showing as a free UK one) or there is a pro service you can pay for ($25 for lifetime daily updates of the proxy list).
They also do a VPN connection for $78.66 a year / $11.52 a month.
Haven't tried any of those - VPN Best UK VPN Service | UK PPTP VPN Account for FREE! is free, again I've never used it.

Not used it myself, but apparently Expat Shield is the device a lot of expats use.

Any hints on what you can do with your IP address so that it thinks you're in the UK?
I know someone posted about this some time ago but cannot for the life of me find the thread.Tags: None
