Yep, these antivirus things don't like password crackers either, but there are legitimate uses for those.

Thanks seems to have done the trick but AVG didn't like it, but that was after it had given me the key.

So time will tell if anything is dodgy.

MS Office CD sleeve gone, can't find Product Key.

Having now finished putting my new PC together I came to install my MS Office 2007 and licence, and can't find the effing product key.

Anyone recommend a reliable app, if there is one, to extract the key from the registry on my old machine, prior to uninstalling.

No piracy was attempted during the writing of this thread.
