Its now part of the Windows Live suite I believe - or at least it is on my Windows 7 Netbook

Can anyone recommend some simple to use, good and free movie/video editing software?

I think Microsoft have done away with Windows Movie Maker on Windows 7 otherwise I would have tried that.
