    Yes, I've had to change the location of the PAYE Tools database for a client of mine so it's on the network drive instead of being on the local computer last week.     Ah - so it is.

    No idea then - I run it as HMRC intended and use SugarSync and Dropbox to keep a copy of the backups in the cloud thingy.

    Looked at that already, but its protected so it can't be changed

    I have done back ups and restores onto the second computer, but wanted to try and keep both in sync all the time

    Options > Application Settings > Database Location looks like a good starting point.

    Try taking a backup and then moving the database somewhere else and see if it works!
