    Iridium Global Timezone Converter

Just remembered, back in my techie days, I used to deploy a small app called Iridium Global Timezone Converter.

It is a small .exe app which was quite popular with the users.

Not sure if you can download it from the link above but I have a copy, which I have just tested and still works under Win7, which I can upload for you if you like.

Thanks, that's the first one I tried that has the (old) .net requirement.

How do you think Apple managed to sell so many Ipods?

New feature = buying a brand new system!

There's a Shell COM API in Windows, so I imagine you'd need to implement something from that in a DLL. It's quite easy to make an application minimize to the system tray, but that only displays an icon, which isn't what you want.

I'm happy to do it if you pay me. I think it's a bit more complicated than 10 minutes though.

I can do that too. Shall we say £20K for 3 months work, and I'll even optimise it with SSE instructions?

I have local admin rights but I don't want to mess with versions of system files that may already be installed that client apps may rely on.

Anyway I tried the app that requires .net at home and it wants v1.5x and does not install with anything newer.

There are also many apps that run without installing.

Can we please move on from this? If you've any suggestions to fulfil my original query I'd greatly appreciate the help.
