I'm not a web developer and so I have no idea how you'd actually feed the data into your site - if you'd require a dedicated feed or if you could just pull the data from a website etc...
But in terms of finding a marketdata provider, I've a sneaky suspicion that for some thing on this kind of scale, a smaller, web-based companies would be much cheaper - There's loads out there, think city index - (http://www.cityindex.co.uk/) are ok, Pro quote (http://www.proquote.net/) had a decent and cheap internet based Market data application a few years ago and may be able to help.
In terms of larger/established providers - the major market data providers such as Reuters and Bloomberg would be expensive - Thomsons Financial are much cheaper, have a whole range of products including web based solutions and definitely provide data feeds (http://www.thomson.com/financial/financial.jsp), Fidessa are also similar. (i.e wide range of products and cheaper than Reuters/Bberg)
Its also worth being aware, Delayed data (normally delayed by around 15 minutes) is going to be much cheaper that real time data time data, which is what you really pay though the nose for.

Market data
I'm looking to integrate a couple of market charts into the main page of a corporate website, e.g. chart of the days FTSE, DAX, DOW etc (or possibly something even simpler such as on http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/default.stm), and something also indicating the current share price for the company.
Any recommendations from people who've done this for a good (inexpensive) feed, preferably available as a webservice.
cheers...Tags: None
