A bit off topic, but:
GNS3 | Graphical Network Simulator
provides an open source (free) emulator to help you ramp up Cisco skills. Perhaps useful as complementary to any real lab work.
I haven't tried it myself, but it was recommended to me as newbie-friendly by a Cisco expert who uses it regularly.

My advice to anyone considering this company is to go to ebay and buy the cisco hardware instead, then go to amazon and buy a cisco ccna book. Your money will be better spent.
I wish I had done just that before I went on the course in Birmingham with them.
Enough said.
What CISCO hardware and books would you recommend? I have the Cisco CCNA press book, a router and switch. Would that be enough... I'm just starting out.

I think theres some presumption that you have studied a bit before you turn up.
Still 6 days in a lab environment with experts on hand at £285 is still a bargain.

Often wondered about this company. For £285 for 6 days training, is it a bargain or just too cheap to be any good?
