download paint.net and make your own
There are plenty of tutorials on the internet and then you have full control over the style

Smashing Magazine frequently post showcases of free icons, the majority of them of very high quality. Worth a look.

Not my area at all, but the web guys I work with have mentioned this a fair bit...seems to be rather slow (or down) at the moment though. Might be what you're after?

Anyone know any decent sites for icons?

Hi y'all, wonder if anyone can help me on this..

I'm looking for 4 icons to represent the state of a transaction. The states are...

Transaction done ( probably a tick)
Transaction not done ( probably a cross)
Transaction pending ( probably one of these we animated revolving circle things )
Transaction returned. (don't know, probably an arrow)

The icons are to appear in a HTML list table so they are probably going to have to be 16*16.

All of the sites I have searched for have been "Give us some dosh and you can have 500 of them"

Just wondering if anyone knows of any sites for icons that are free and where they look decent. Cheers.
