PSPad will show line ends with a text file or you can display as hex.

Can anyone point me to a freebie text file editor / reader that shows me all the control characters in a file - particularly tabs + crlf.

I'm having an argument with an idiot who's telling me he can't see these in a file I've produced (don't ask).
