    I have never in 19 years of IT bollox come across such a complex and seemingly impossible installation procedure.

    3 days of plugging away and a million blogs unearthed the gem that TFS 2008, SQL Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 are incompatible!



    Or are they? Seems that the issues can still prevail in any number of version combinations.

    I am getting to the end of my tether here. The only comparable pain I recall was trying to get Linux installed on a laptop.

    I guess there are no camps (MS, Linux etc.) that offer pain-free computing anymore.
