We do exactly the same as you describe with no such problems:
i.e. save email as .msg file and attach to QC defects module.
We can then open these files at will, just by clicking on the attachments tab and double clicking the icon.

Storing emails in Quality Center

We are using Quality Center to store sign-off emails. By saving Outlook email to desktop / wherever, then uploading this into QC as an attachment.

However - when we try to open and view the email, this will not open. We do not get the 'Open With' option when using QC unlike trying to open on a desktop. Cannot even move from QC.

Anyone come across this, or any ideas on how to take the outlook email from QC to another location to then try to open?

Incidentally, there is a QC webinar at 12 noon today for version 10 if anyone interested.....
