Have you got automatic proxy detection turned on? It's the "Automatically detect settings" option in Tools -> Internet Options -> Connections -> LAN Settings. For some reason IE8 suddenly decided to enable it for me a while back, and I couldn't get anything to work until I switched it off.

It's not the finished article, but then what MS product is?

It can take about 10 seconds sometimes when you change tabs to get everything active.

    Bin Norton.

It's bloody useless and mainly bloatware these days.

Has anybody else upgraded to this? Any problems so far?

Mine seems to run ok. The only eannoying problem I have is that the phishing aspect of Norton 360 seems to keep resetting and so it prompts me everytime I open a new browser window that I am open to phishing attacks. Once I tell it to fix it, it is OK. Anyone else get this problem?

Any suggestions? I will call Norton or Microsoft to try and resolve.

Working...
