The central servers have been turned off, as has their website.

    Try Ares.

    WinMx (P2P) trouble

    Any help greatly appreciated.

I recently un-installed WinMx as it was 'freezing'. I have downloaded the latest version, but this won't/can't detect an internet connection. during setup, it looks for a connection, but then says I may not be connected. It also says that if I am behind a firewall, or connected through broadband - yes to both - I may need to manually configure.

I did try switching off my firewall temporarily.

    Has anyone any ideas?

Working...
