80GB, 99€ on Amazon, seems quite decent.

I bought something similar a few years back and have found it one of the best accessories I've had, large storage size yet fits in the pocket and you can always rip the HD out after a couple of years and fit something bigger/faster.

On my last job people were asking to borrow it all the time as it was sometimes quicker than the network for transferring large files, ISO's of Win 2K3 for example.

For something somewhat smaller though this would be my suggestion:

as it's not much bigger than a typical usb memory key and you can carry multiple cards with you, use the one from your phone etc.

I just bought one of these and its pretty good. 80gb, little leather case and no need for an external power source.

Jeeze, I'm a bit slow on this one but did you see the £23.50 shipping cost of that £10 1GB memory stick on the Ebay sale? It's shipped from Hong Kong. Wonder whether the buyer spotted it?

I was going to make the fella buy it for himself! I don't earn it to spend it on someone else!

Are you a contractor or what. Since when has anyone on here been bothered about the cost of things. I cant spend it fast enough to keep the bank manager from moaning about my cash taking up too much space.

    about 50 quid here

Can't you plug an ipod into that? Or get an itrip (not that I'm condoning breaking the law of course).

Failing that there one on ebay. £10 with less than an hour to go...

    USB memory things

Where's the cheapest place to get a 1GB reliable jobby? Just treated the fella to a car stereo with a USB interface and his portable hard drive doesn't play nicely and he's only got a 512KB pen drive, bless 'im.

    Cheers chaps (and chapesses)
Working...
