I have SunMC installed on around 1000 or so servers/zones.
It installs over 11000 files under /opt/SUNWsymon and /var/opt/SUNWsymon.

Not totally sure what you're after - PM me if you like.

    Sun Management Center

    Yes I know American spelling.

I have been tasked with creating a fingerprint for this application for Enterprise Discovery. However to do this I need to find a file within the application which I can base the recognition around. I've done a bit of reading around the subject and all I can find on SMC are guides for installing and running the application but nothing to show me what files get installed when SMC is installed. I know there is a script called es-guistart that is used to start the application, but it is not a good idea to base recognition around a script as their size/attributes change if anybody modifies it. So does anybody know what files this script calls as I'm stumped. I do not have access to the servers themselves or anybody who seems to know anything about this.

Working...
