I've used DOORS for a number of years now and it's not bad at what it does ie requirements tracking. However it is difficult to import stuff properly, and it's worst feature is the export. That means if you want to send a copy of the requirements to someone who doesn't have access to Doors, it will look terrible. Small gripe I know, but could cause issues. It does have a web front end these days (I think) but I've never used it. This was intended to get over the export problem. Oh and it also bugs me that you have to give requirement numbers to headings, and that nesting is hard to express.
I've only ever used Req Pro on a couple of occasions so can't really comment on that.
The main competitor to both is the email/word combo. If the client already has those then the costs savings of getting RP or DOORS are called into question ;o)
If you want the official speil from Telelogic, I can give you a contact.

Requirement Management Tools
Client Co would like me to give them some steer on current Requirement Management tools out there.
I've used RequisitePro and have a bit of knowledge about Doors. Any of you guys used any of these in anger so know strong/weak points, or know about any other tools that might be worth considering?
