IMHO

Agreed. Save yourself some time in the future and dev as close to test/live as you can. We all know what happens when you don't. 3 hours of bug hunting for a five minute fix when a proper dev/test environment would have prevented it.

wcf over ssl

Anyone used this?
I need my web farm to connect to various wcf services over ssl. It took me a good day to work out the config changes to do this. However I am loathed to go around each dev pc and install client certificates to emulate the deployed scenario, therefore I would like to run over http druing development and switch to https in qa/live. I am having issues working out how to easily switch between the two environments without a whole host of config changes. Has anyone come across this?
