Cutting and pasting the scanned images together into a single image, or pasting them all into a single document, prior to CutePdf-ing with the free version would solve the problem I think...

Update
I needed to create pdf docs from a number of scanned images. Basically the free stuff was not up to th job. Cutepdf was the best of the bunch, but this can only create a pdf doc from a single file. So if you have 8 images you get 8 pdf docs. Others had similar restrictions and those that claimed to be able to combine files into a single pdf were unsatisfactory.
The solution was to download a trial of cutepdfpro. This does everything required, but in trial version adds a footer to the first page. However, this was ok in this instance. To buy is £25 so could be worth the small cost in order to go faxless in future.
Another solution is Deskpdf. Did not try it, but has very good functionality also and is only £15.
I'm sure the other solutions mentioned has merit as well. Thanks.

Thanks for the replies. The cutePdf app looks promising. Will try this in the first instance and report back in a day or two.

Another vote for cutePdf here. Very small footprint, free and it works!

Also this very nifty and FREE tool allows you to convert images to PDFs then to concatenate them into one combined, mult-page PDF.

Have you got the original doc? If so, can you not scan them all to a single document with your scanner software? HP Scan Pro (free with HP scanner) does this.Originally posted by Turion View PostNeed a decent way of creating PDF docs. I have 8 scanned images of a contract that need to be emailed back to agency. Anyone recommend some free & easy to use software for this purpose?

OpenOffice.org v2.2. Export to PDF from the file menu after you have scanned in the pages into Writer (the wp).
