The 6300 does not include a GPS receiver (according the Nokia spec at http://europe.nokia.com/A4254242). This means you need a bluetooth GPS receiver as well.. I would stick with the current phone, get a TomTom unit and just enable the traffic updates using bluetooth through the current phone.

    Tomtom and Nokia 6300

I need a satnav that does the traffic update thing.

Thought of getting the Tomtom navigator, then somebody suggested I get a Nokia 6300 and the Tomtom software separate, then pay the £4 per month for the 4mb for the traffic updates.

Question - does the 6300 work with the traffic updates ok? Do I REALLY need to buy a separate Tomtom unit as well? If so, I may as well just stick to my current phone and get just the Tomtom box.

Interested to hear of peoples perspectives before I buy!

Working...
