VB - Web or Windows?
Web you could use the accessdataobject ... should be on your toolbar under data,
will let you connect to access.. and do what you want..
Windows you could use the Bindingdatasource link to what ever tables and do as you want I think.

Gave up the ghost - Uninstalled VS2005 - Installed VB6 and have almost finished writing the app.
Just need to make it look pretty now.
Do VB6 apps run on Pista?

Access VBA is not greatly different from VB6 and building forms is much easier. Do you plan on using lots of fancy ActiveX controls?
If your app is very simple it may not need any coding at all!

But still for what you want to do, considering you plan to use VB anyway, it makes much more sense to do it in Access itself. It should actually be easier than doing the same from within VS.

Access is not my strong point.
I've goolged and everyone seems to be asking the same questions
I think I'll dig a copy of VB6 out and write the app in that (It's not as if the app is going to be sold)

You are better off writing frontend using VB in Access itself, why involve VS 2005?

Access & VS2005
Could someone point me to an idiots guide to using access with VB2005?
To give you an idea I last did this in VB6
Promissed the wife that I'd write her some software to keep records for her reptile business
The database is all setup - Just need to code a pretty front end
