I currently have a buffalo bridge so here printer etc. can be used easily. But have tried looking around for a access point which will perform the NAT so I can share the single IP over her PC's.
Struggling to find this peice of kit. I was going to guess that any wireless router without a modem could run as a access point but not sure.
Appreciate any links.

The router is probably a BT 2700 HGV, and amongst its niceties it allows the network admin to restrict which IP's have access through it to the Internet.
The only way you are going to get around this is if you:
A) reset + reconfig the router (physical access required for reset)
B) set up your wife's PC for routing with an additional wired wireless Access Point for other connections: [2700HGV] - - - [WIFEPC]==========[AP] - - - [PC's]
C) set up some kind of wireless repeater network with a client Access Point talking to their network physically wired to an Access Point allowing your PC's to connect. [2700HGV] - - - [AP]==========[AP] - - - [PC's]

BT Fusion advice.
My wife is currently sharing a BT fusion connection at her office. and...well we've been having difficulties with it. it seems to only allow a single wi-fi connection to access the internet. you can have multiple wi-fi connections to it, but you can't access the internet, except from one single IP!
Which is very frustrating as I have to statically assign this and hope their cruddy DHCP doesn't assign the same to another machine. woo hoo!
THe numb nuts that are providing the connection don't know a thing about it. THey have some "IT guy" who's never around and can't remeber the log-in password to the router. Anyone have any experience with this thing? I can try and maybe hack into it and determine what's up.
It even harder as I can't get to the router setup through wi-fi.
