    Online project management

Anyone got any recommendations for an off-the-shelf online project management system that is geared towards large numbers of small clients and projects.

The ones I have looked at, (i.e. Basecamp) would be fine except for their inability to do wholesale copies of existing projects and clients to avoid excessive re-keying whenever a new client or project comes along. Basecamp has a "to do" template which is useful, but they don't have project templates nor is there any sign that there are any signs of it being included in future versions.

I am looking at dozens of clients and hundreds of projects. The projects are all very small, with just a few tasks and a short duration. Having to re-key loads of information every time a new project is started is just crazy. Most of the projects are repetitive, with identical projects being repeated for the same clients and other clients.

I feel that the existing systems I've found, like Basecamp, are geared towards a relatively small number of large unique projects requiring a fair bit of set-up time, which is justified given the size of the project. With my projects, I think setting them up would probably take longer than my time spent on some of the projects.

    Ideas anyone?
