Wireless Zero Config Killed my Modem

I have PPPoe modem in bridged mode with a Linksys wireless router.

My missuses laptop is a Sony Vaio with Windows Wireless zero config getting the wireless signal.

everytime she connects it kills the modem and the modem has to be rebooted.

The other 4 wireless & wired computers work without - no WZC.

Is there a setting somewhere to stop this - I think I have tried everything

    any ideas?
Working...
