They may be blocking certain ports/protocols to prevent people doing this sort of thing. Try forcing the software to use dfferent ports and see if that helps.

file share programs and orange broadband Help!

Hi I am hoping you can help me. I have just joined Orange broadband but for some reason I can not watch online programmes on proogrammes that have videos playing with windows media for example ZSHARE. I was previously with NTL and had no problem playing the videos at the moment the only way I can watch them is if I download the videos which can take ages. I contacted orange but they were no help. Does anyone else have the sameproblem with their orange broadband or knows a way around it then please can you advise me as I have no tv at the moment and this is the only way I was able to watch videos so am gettog very bored.
