    Not tried this myself, if you host with us then we give you a choice between windows or UNIX for the same cost and we have changed a few users over for a nominal / no charge when they needed FP extensions or dot net.

    I had to enable FP extensions on a windows web hosting service once in order to use the bells and whistles that FP provides (form processing in that case). If you don't use FP you probably won't need them. Dunno if a non MS web host will do them though. If you use a non MS web authoring tool like Dreamweaver for example then maybe you won't or can't use them.
    It's one of the things that you need to consider before you chose a hosting service.

    If the host serveur, running under linux,has no FrontPage extensions, where could you find them and how can they be installed?

    In fact why are they needed?
