    Re: Amplified heat

I wanted to buy music legit but have found it very difficult to do in the UK.

    Solution - try here:

    MP3's

Don't use the search it pops up many many pop ups.

But browse the archive and the MP3's are fine and free.

"start enjoying anything in the Top 40. You will have no problem getting hold of legal or illegal downloads."

This week, I have decided to start enjoying Rachel out of Steps Club 7.

You're not wrong about the illegal downloads either.

Well, your options are somewhat limited, due in part to

    a) your reluctance to migrate your computer platform
    b) your eclectic taste in music

In this case, even if you did resolve option a), it's not going to help significantly with option b), because your musical taste is somewhat poorly represented due to it's minority appeal.

I suggest your only course of action is to widen your musical appeal and start enjoying anything in the Top 40. You will have no problem getting hold of legal or illegal downloads.

Alternatively, buy a guitar and make your own songs. Then, whenever you want to listen to them, all you have to do is find yourself and your guitar.

    buying music

    I want to download music.
I want to do it legally (ie pay for it), but all the sites I've found either don't have the songs I want (eg Pressed Rat & Warthog) or only work if you're in the US or require XP/2000.
    I've only got W98 (I know, I know, I'm a skinflint - but W98 does everything I want - except it won't work with i-tunes etc).

I'm not too keen on p2p solutions as these look like they may present security/legal problems.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
