123-reg for .co.uk?
Thanks Vetran.
I'm gonna buy .co.uk which will redirect to .com
123Reg costs 3GBP/year - anyone used them? Any catches? Pop ups? Banners?
Thanks

Guest repliedsorry can't go that low. but if you need high bandwidth secure hosting in the future give me a call. Not used 1&1 or total so can't vouch for them.

Guest repliedWell seeing that I'm in Oz, one hours time difference should be no prob.

Guest repliedI use 1&1, but for MS hosting.
I've not had any problems so far (2 years).
The only thing to remember is that their servers are set to Euro time. So if you don't want to look silly make sure you compensate for the extra hour.

Hi,
I need a host for my .com website.
My requirements are include the following to host a forum:
Perl 5 (or higher) installed on the server
CGI.pm v2.4+ and Socket.pm modules
Sendmail (for Linux/Unix) or SMTP (for Windows/NT or Linux/Unix); optional, but recommended
In terms of space, probably need around 50Mb...
Looking to spend under GBP40/yr....
Have had a look at 1and1 and Totalhosting so far - anyone used them?
Thanks,
