    It was easier than I was imagining it to be:

    You create a Struts application in the same way as you create any other web application in the IDE, with the additional step of indicating that you want the Struts libraries and configuration files to be included in your application.

    Don't use NetBeans myself - I'm an Eclipse guy - so can't give specific advice.

    Struts tutorials - netbeans

    I've downloaded struts 2... there is no 'install' option so I assume it doesn't integrate with netbeans in any way. I'm used to being cosseted by the IDE

    I'm trying to get the blank application working as instructed here:

    We can make a copy of the "blank.war", deploy it to our container, and use the exploded copy as the basis for our application.
    I have managed to deploy the WAR but I don't understand the next bit... I can see where the source is located in the struts directory tree but how do I create a new project and link the WAR with the source?
