    proftpd on cygwin, however I have never tried this. I use NT based systems now, never going back to 9.x!!!!!

    1. My PC is slow, there is little space on the HDD so installing a new OS is out of the question at the moment.

    2. If you search for free software on Google there is a high probability that the software is corrupt. Good free binary software is difficult to find unless its open source and you can verify that the code is clean.
