    I know some HP laserjets have a function for the number of copies printed. This can be set on the front panel and sometimes gets set by a user pressing random buttons when trying to make the printer work.

    Many years ago had a similar problem. The printer was set to do a page feed when it should have been off. Hence it was recieving a feed from the driver as well as the printer.

    disable the print q on the server(s) get the newest driver from the vendor (after testing ofcourse!!)

    Any tech supoort / SEs come across printer viruses - I have a report of one printer printing out 2 sheets to each staff member unpromptd. Have no more details at the mo.

    Any ways to fix this quickly?
