    Double check that the PC supports UDMA100 drives though.
    You may need to install new bios or drivers, other than that you shouldn't have too much trouble.

    There is no W98 problem. You just need an available IDE connector, preferably on a separate channel.

    I have an old PC (bought 1998) and I want to increase storage space. Could I install the following? How easy is it to install an internal HDD with Windows 98?
