Might be worth checking that the connector is still plugged into the display adaptor properly with the screws done up tight.

I did have a display adaptor pop out of the motherboard once, but that did somewhat more than make the display wiggle.

Wouldn't hurt to try reseating the card though.

    buy a new one

Monitors these days are cheap and repairs are expensive.

Or look on it as an opportunity for your company to invest in a nice TFT screen. Make sure you actually look at some before buying though - there is considerable variation in quality and no guarantee that an expensive one will be better than one a bit cheaper.

No, but I've moved the tower further away (it's been there since I got it but I might have moved it a little while cleaning...).

    Ta, jumpsystems.

    oohhh errr, what's going on?

    Silly question time guys.

My wonderful (and previously reliable) mitsubishi monitor has, in the last 2 days, started behaving oddly. The screen has started to 'wobble' and occasionally 'skip' side to side. I haven't moved anything.

I bought it in 2000 but I know that company monitors have lasted longer.

Is this an indication that it's dying or is there something I can do about it?

Working...
