    pay a few quid to hosting provider who will provide you with mail server and stop trying to learn everything in like few months time. In the last few months you've ask so many questions from so many completely different fields that its clear that its best for you to try to focus on one thing at a time.

    I really could do with a solid mail server to fix applications to. I was wondering whether it is possible to build your own on port25/port110 and whether there are any -reliable- free/cheap servers to use?
