Bob, make me an offer, you'd be suprise how little I'll let them go for! I need to space not the cash !Originally posted by Cowboy BobI used to love working on the Sun Ultras. In an old permie role all the servers were Ultra 5s. They were rock solid machines. One of them got shipped from the US and when it arrived, part of the case was caved in. The graphics adapter was trashed, and part of the MOBO was cracked. It still booted up and we could control it via MiniCom. It worked as the office file-server for years with no problems. Good days.
Would be interested for nostalgia's sake, but I've been throwing out a lot of old equipment lately and I don't think Mrs Bob would be too happy if I started replacing it with more...
