    Yes.

    Just make sure you put all of what is in client 1 id_rsa file, then all of what is in client 2 id_rsa file.
    It should work. Sometimes it's actually the authorized_keys2 file.

    The file permissions under the .ssh directory on both client 1 and client 2 will need to be tight. 600 / "rw-------" should do it but check the man page as I can't remember exactly.

    SSH Public Key Problem

    I have a server, and two clients, I have created added the public key from client 1 to authorized_keys on the server and it works a treat, when I try to add the public key from client 2 to the same file but appending the new key below the first, I can still connect from client 1 but not client 2 as i get the error message

    "Permission denied (publickey)."

    Is what I am trying to do possible?
