That site uses Mistylook - Misty Look - A Beautiful and Functional WordPress Theme | WordPress Themes

I use "Freelancer" (https://wordpress.org/themes/freelancer/) which is a fork from GeneratePress (https://wordpress.org/themes/generatepress/) which is plain and simple but has lots of customisable things in it.

Finding a compact sedate Wordpress design

I am experimenting with a Wordpress blog, but the default editor and formatted output has a large clunky font which I hate.

I would like to use a more compact design, with a sedate layout and fonts, a "boring" appearance for want of a better word, such as the one here.

But am having trouble finding example sites from where I can obtain CSS files etc for this. All Wordpress example sites seem have flashy sales type styles and comprise mostly images.

Any ideas? I can tweak CSS up to a point, but I lack the artistic skills to design an entire theme. So I'm after a sample which I can just use moreorless unchanged.
