    Quite to the contrary. I actually told the person calling me from Apple Business Solutions asking me about what I thought of the new stuff that I was very disappointed. I had hoped for something more than a very expensive fashion accessory to look cool hanging around in Starbucks. Like 32GB RAM hint hint...

    Assuming it's a business purchase why not write it off and give it to the wife/mistress/kids?

    I am picking up my replacement laptop tomorrow and will be selling the MBP as a consequence. I reckon it would fetch up to £1,500 on eBay and I might end up going down that route.
    I've contacted a few companies that 'specialise' in used Apple products but have mostly received offensive offers (like £400). One eBay seller offered me £1,250 which I think is reasonable.

    What other channels are open for disposing high value 2nd hand laptops (or if you know about a sensible buyer)?
