    2003 uses block sizes of 64K but everything else (including XP) uses 32K blocks, so you need a Win2003 server installation of NTBackup. MS might have fixed this by now, but I wouldn't bet on it.
    Suggest your client buys a proper backup application if they truly value their data. NTBackup is frankly rubbish, I wouldn't even trust it to backup MarillionFans porn collection.

    Got a tape off a client - How do I catalogue the bloody tape? (Windows 2003 server)

    It was written by NTBACKUP under windows 2003 server.

    In NT there was a meu item to do this - Where the feck did it go?

    The data is important and if needs be I'll install NT Server on a box to get it back (Will this work? )
