You can trap the touch events in JS and stop people being able to do anything.

  • Disable pinch to zoom on modal dialog in mobile devices

Is this possible? I have a nodal dialog which fills 100% of the viewport. position is fixed. Underlying page scrolls ok (visible as opacity of dialog is set to .75) but we don't want them to be able to pinch to zoom - i.e. the image in the modal dialog that overlays the page needs to remain the same size.

Anyone got any ideas how this can be done in CSS?
